Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Rhode Island Wing of the Civil Air Patrol. The Civil Air Patrol is the official auxiliary of the United States Air Force. We have been mandated by Congress with the following three missions; Aerospace Education, Cadet Programs and Emergency Services. Our wing is comprised of many committed and dedicated volunteers who have truly earned the title "Unpaid Professionals". Our organization is community based and provides numerous opportunities for someone to serve. Our members are involved with search and rescue, working at emergency shelters, emergency communications, aerial photography and assisting other organizations with aerospace education, as well as many other duties too numerous to mention. We are always looking for new and former members who wish to give of their time and talent and make a difference in the communities where they live and serve. There is continual need for quality volunteers, both cadet and senior officers to aid us in our ongoing "Missions for America." Please continue to browse our website.
Join us and become part of a vital and dynamic community service organization that has faithfully and continually served the citizenry of the United States for 75 years.
